P2P bus trips from NAIA to Alabang, Laguna kick off

MANILA — The premium point to point (P2P) buses from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to Alabang, Muntinlupa City and Santa Rosa, Laguna began operations Thursday.

Ang P2P ay isang paraan para ang ating mga mananakay ay magkaroon ng comfortable na biyahe (The P2P is a way for passengers to have comfortable trips). The UBE buses are compliant with the requirements of the Department of Transportation on the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program. We are very supportive of this kind of initiative,” Transportation Assistant Secretary Manny Gonzales said in his speech during its launch at the NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City.

The UBE Express Premium P2P buses will ferry passengers from NAIA Terminals 1 to 4 to Alabang Town Center and Ayala South Park, Muntinlupa for a fare of PHP110; and to Robinson’s Tagapo in Santa Rosa, Laguna and Nuvali, Santa Rosa for a fare of PHP190.

The P2P buses are Euro-5 compliant, fully air-conditioned and equipped with a global positioning system technology, WiFi connection and CCTV cameras, as well as adequate luggage racks and compartments.

The buses also have a low-floor entry with wheelchair ramps to provide easy access for persons with disability.

The UBE Express, which is owned by logistics firm Air 21, currently operates P2P buses to NAIA from Robinson’s Galleria, Araneta Center, Intramuros in Manila, Ayala Center in Makati, Grand Prix Hotel in Pasay, and the Mall of Asia.
