P2P buses to ply Noveleta-Makati route next week

NOVELETA, Cavite — Point-to-Point (P2P) buses will start rolling anytime next week from this town to the Makati Business District, Mayor Dino Reyes Chua said Friday.

Chua said bus operator, San Agustin Transport Service Corp., will start operating seven yellow buses on its terminal in Puregold Noveleta going to Makati.

“This is the answer to the daily agonies of Caviteño commuters, especially the Noveleteños. This will not only benefit people from Noveleta, but also the nearby towns of Salinas, Kawit, Cavite City and Tanza,” Chua said in an interview with the Philippine News Agency (PNA).

The Noveleta-Makati route would be the sixth P2P terminal in the province. The other routes are the Alabang-Bacoor, Alabang-Dasmariñas, Bacoor-Makati, Dasmariñas-Makati via Daang-hari (operated by Metro Express Connect, Inc.), and Imus-Makati routes operated by San Agustin Transport service.

“Maganda po ito para sa mga mananakay ng Noveleta. Hindi na po stop-and-go ang bus. Diretso na po pa-Makati kaya mapapabilis po ang kanilang mga travel time (This is good for Noveleta commuters. The buses will no longer be stop-and-go, but will go straight to Makati),” Noveleta resident Donide Villareal said.
