P6.8-M worth of shabu seized in Cavite; 4 suspects nabbed

CAMP GEN. VICENTE LIM, Calamba City — Authorities seized PHP6.8 million worth of suspected “shabu” from four drug suspects who were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite on Sunday.

PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino identified the arrested suspects as Abdulkarim Palti Mustapha alias “Abdul”; Baraguir Zainal Kalikod alias “JP”; Renie Baguinaid Kendayo alias “Ren”; and Abdul Bayan Uday Usop,alias “Bayan.”

Joint elements of PDEA Calabarzon, PDEA-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and PNP Calabarzon arrested the four along Almaciga St., Phase 2, Central Molino 3, Bacoor City around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday after they agreed to sell shabu to a PDEA undercover agent.

The suspects yielded 18 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 1 kilogram of suspected shabu and the buy-bust money used in the operation.

The suspects are now temporarily jailed at the PDEA Regional Office (PDEA 4-A) detention cell. (Saul Pa-a/PNA)
