P850-K worth of shabu seized in CamSur drug bust

LEGAZPI CITY – Two high-value targets were found in possession of P850,000 worth of suspected shabu during a drug sting in Camaligan, Camarines Sur over the weekend.

In a report on Sunday (Oct. 24), Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said operatives seized two knot-tied sachets of shabu weighing 125 grams and with an estimated value of P850,000.

Suspects Armando Del Rosario, 51, and Gil San Buenaventura, both of Barangay San Roque, were caught at around 2:20 p.m. selling a sachet of shabu weighing 25 grams to an undercover police agent.

A further search yielded 100 grams more.

The suspects will face charges of possession and selling of illegal drugs. (PNA) – bny
