PAF in need of Huey choppers’ spare parts

MANILA — The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is allocating the sum of PHP31,024,000 for the acquisition of spare parts needed for the maintenance and repair of the power-plant systems of its UH-IH/D helicopters.

Submission and opening of bids is slated on December 7, 9 a.m. at the PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

The PAF is using its UH-IH/D helicopters for transport, supply and medical evacuation missions.

“All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR),” the bid bulletin which was posted at the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System stated. (PNA)
