PAL flight with 500K purchased vaccine doses set to arrive in MNL today/11APR

Philippine Airlines flight PR359 will be arriving in Manila (NAIA Terminal 2 /Bay49) at 5:55PM today (April11) from Beijing carrying 500,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines. This represents the second batch of vaccines purchased by the Philippine government.

PAL’s A330 (RP-C8789), which will airlift the latest batch of vaccines for the Philippines, will be under the command of Captain Mitchel Lasmarias, assisted by First Officers Louis Patrick Relato and
Lorenz Ledesma. Chinese Interpreter Joann Yu Uy completes the flight roster.

Last March 29, the first batch of vaccines (1M Sinovac doses) purchased by the PH government from China was transported by PAL from Beijing to Manila. The flag carrier also carried via a Beijing to Manila flight 400,000 doses of donated Sinovac vaccines. (Press Release)
