Malacañang on Friday described President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as a “master of multitasking,” emphasizing his “high-energy” style of leadership marked by a packed schedule and close attention to government priorities.

During the aid distribution at the Batangas Province Events Center in Batangas City, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto said the 68-year-old President maintains an intense work pace inside and outside the Palace, attending back-to-back meetings while reviewing reports on key programs and projects.

“Kung nasa Palasyo, hindi naman mapakali ang master of multitasking. Kaliwa’t kanan ang mga pulong,” Exec. Sec. Recto said.

He added that Marcos Jr. often studies reports even late at night to assess the implementation of major government projects nationwide.

Recto stressed that the administration’s focus remains on delivering results.

He also responded to criticisms surrounding Marcos’ health, citing the President’s daily workload as evidence of active and sustained leadership.

“Tingin ko nga, inuunan pa sa gabi ang mga ulat. Kaya hindi po iyan ang diskarte ng isang ‘lowbat’ na lider, tulad ng paninira ng kakarampot na lantutay ang mga isip,” Recto said.

“This is a high-energy presidency of a healthy leader. Walang wheelchair, walang tungkod, at hindi uugod-ugod,” he added.

Recto said the government is focused on service delivery amid political noise, emphasizing continued efforts to produce tangible outcomes for Filipinos.

“Ang mahalaga, may gawa, may resulta na nakikita. And perhaps, this is exactly the right spirit for today. Because in the middle of all the political noise, we are here to serve, work, and deliver,” he said.

Recto also assured the public that Malacañang will comply with the Supreme Court’s (SC) directive to comment on a petition seeking the disclosure of the Chief Executive’s medical examination report, including a hair follicle drug test.

The SC en banc earlier directed Marcos and Recto to submit their comment within a non-extendible period of 10 days from receipt of notice, without necessarily giving due course to the petition at this stage.

“We will comment soon. We will follow the Supreme Court and provide a comment,” Recto said.
