Palace urges public to avoid superspreader events amid the opening of malls

By Pearl Gumapos

The Palace calls on the public to avoid superspreader events following the opening of malls.

ā€œNananawagan kami sa publiko, sa mga mall owners, binuksan natin ang mga malls sa mga kabataan dahil unang-una, para sa public health benefits nito sa kabataan at para rin sa ekonomiya,ā€ Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said during a MalacaƱang public briefing on Monday (Nov. 8).

ā€œHindi po dahilan ito para maging superspreader iyong ating malling,ā€ he said.

Roque said that it was still important to follow minimum health standards.

He also urged mall owners to safely enforce health protocols.

ā€œImportanteng sumunod tayo sa minimum health standards, at nananawagan kami sa mga mall owners, katungkulan niyo pong ipatupad ang mga minimum health standards,ā€ he said. – bny
