MANILA — Pasig ruled the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 preseason tourney with a clean sweep in the one-day event at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City on Monday.

The Kings, essentially playing at home, trounced the San Juan Knights, 21-17, in the championship game to complete the 4-0 showing en route to a PHP50,000 cash pot.

Dylan Ababou showed that he can still compete at a high level despite having top caliber Philippine Basketball Association prospects with him in Troy Rike, Joshua Munzon, and Taylor Statham with 10 points to lead Pasig.

The team first swept the single round robin group stages, beating Cebu and Valenzuela, before blasting Vigan, 21-9, in the semis.

Mac Cardona paced San Juan with 10 points of his own.
