Passengers flock PITX post-Holy Week

Commuters returning to Manila continued to flock to Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) following the long weekend due to the Holy Week holiday.

According to the PITX, there were nearly 47,000 passengers at the station as of 10 a.m. Monday.

On Easter Sunday, PITX recorded 30,000 passengers at the station, 84,000 passengers on Black Saturday, and 52,000 passengers on Good Friday.

Travelers at PITX are expected to decline tomorrow.

Aside from PITX, commuters going to work flocked to EDSA Carousel earlier as its normal operations and free sides resumed Monday following the long weekend. – gb
