PBA: TNT blasts Blackwater as 2021 PH Cup resumes

The 2021 PBA Philippine Cup resumed its games on Wednesday (Sept. 1), with TNT Tropang Giga routing the Blackwater Bossing 96-76 at the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) in Bacolor, Pampanga.

The Tropang Giga kept its unbeaten slate while at the same time kept Blackwater winless this conference.

Mikey Williams led TNT with 16 points while Roger Pogoy and Jayson Castro contributed 13 points each.

Simon Enciso led the losing cause of Blackwater with 14 points while Kelly Nabong and Carl Bryan Cruz chipped in 11 points each.

“Credit to (Blackwater) coach Nash (Racela) and his staff. They came out with a very good and solid game plan against us. Pinahirapan kami talaga sa first half,” Tropang Giga head coach Chot Reyes said after the game via PBA.ph.  – bny/jlo
