PBBM arrives in Belgium for ASEAN-EU summit

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. arrived in Brussels, Belgium on Monday morning, Dec. 12, for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations-European Union (ASEAN-EU) Commemorative Summit.

The President is set to meet with Filipinos in Belgium and Luxembourg.

He is also expected to outline his administration’s goals at the Summit including agricultural, trade, and maritime ties.

“This will be the first meeting between ASEAN and EU Members States’ Leaders at the EU Headquarters and I am pleased to highlight the Philippine’s role as country coordinator for ASEAN in its dialogue relations with the EU,” Marcos said.

The Chief Executive will attend the EU-ASEAN Business Summit and 10th ASEAN-EU Business Summit C-Suite or CEO Suite Luncheon.

He will also discuss trade and investment policies to the EU and European corporations during the sidelines of the ASEAN-EU Summit.

The President will meet with leaders from Belgium, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, and the EU. – gb
