President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will remain unfazed by fluctuating survey numbers and will continue to work to improve the lives of Filipinos, Malacañang said Wednesday.
This, as Marcos Jr. received a net satisfaction rating of negative 15 (classified as “poor”) in a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) on March 24–31, 2026, falling by 12 points from “neutral” -3 recorded in November 2025.
Based on the SWS survey, around 33% of adult Filipinos said that they were satisfied with the President’s performance, nearly half or about 49% expressed dissatisfaction, while 18% were undecided.
The latest net satisfaction rating obtained by President Marcos Jr., according to SWS, is now considered his “personal record-low,” surpassing his previous all-time low of “poor” -12 in March 2025.
Palace Press Officer and Undersecretary Claire Castro stressed that despite differing public perceptions of his performance, the President and his administration remain focused on serving the Filipino people, especially as the Philippines continues to reel from the impact of the Middle East crisis.
Castro said.
While recognizing that the SWS figures may help the government further improve its performance and service delivery, Castro also cited a separate OCTA Research survey which showed the President as the “highest rated among the top four officials in a nationwide survey.”
