PBBM to Filipinos: Emulate Bonifacio’s loyalty, love for country

By Katrina Gracia Consebido

On Andres Bonifacio Day, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, urged Filipinos to “emulate the loyalty and love for the country” of the Philippine national hero.

Nov. 30 marked the celebration of the 159th birth anniversary of Bonifacio.

He also hailed uniformed personnel, health workers, and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) as “modern-day heroes.”

He also appealed to Filipinos to continue honoring Bonifacio and other heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence the Filipinos enjoy today. -gb
