“Alam niyo po, kahit mabigat ang krisis natin sa enerhiya, ang trabaho ng gobyerno ay hindi maaaring doon lang tumigil.”

This sentence fully encapsulates the government’s steadfast commitment to help the citizenry as it remains unfazed by adversity and various internal and external challenges.

In a video message uploaded to social media on Sunday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. noted that the administration remains hard at work in ensuring uninterrupted construction and completion of infrastructure projects, unhampered access to medical care, unrelenting campaign against lawless elements, and unwavering support to Filipino athletes.

He then went on to share a story of how the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program continues to touch the lives of beneficiaries, especially during these difficult circumstances.

President Marcos Jr. commended the inclusive progress brought about by some housing projects that he inspected in Pampanga recently, “Nakakatuwa makita at makita mo na mas maginhawa at mas maganda ang buhay ng ating mga kababayan.”

The government’s housing initiative is established to address the shortage of affordable housing in the country fueled by earlier programs that fell flat on their premise to give Filipino families a decent and livable shelter.

Under the expanded 4PH Program, the government offers beneficiaries the choice of  either horizontal (house and lot) or vertical (condominium-type) developments to select which one would fit their needs and preferences.

They are likewise granted a 1-3% subsidized interest rate on top of flexible financial terms that makes the payment process for their units easier on their wallets.

The Chief Executive concluded, “Yung mga kulang na bahay ay gagawan natin ng paraan upang lahat ng nangangailangan [ng] pabahay ay gagawin natin.”
