PCAP All-Star Game all set for May

The Professional Chess Association of the Philippines is set to do an all-star game this May before the import-laden conference starts.

The PCAP based its format on the established professional league Philippine Basketball League (PBA) where it is played before or while the second conference is ongoing.

In an interview with PTV Sports, PCAP Commissioner Atty. Paul Elauria disclosed the mechanics of the said exhibition game.

All-star games, meaning, we select best players from South and North. 14 players from South and North. Top 7 will be selected by fan voting and the second seven will be selected by team owners and players,” Atty. Paul Elauria elaborated.

Atty. Elauria revealed the first conference will possibly serve as a pattern for the all-star game.
