PCCI hopes online business owners consider registration to help boost Ph revenue

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) is hoping those starting with online businesses see registration as a means to help with the revenue of the government.

“Of course kailangan natin. ‘Yung ginagamit sa SAP ay inuutang lang natin. Iyon, kailangan bayaran. Kailangan magkaroon tayo ng source of revenue (We need it [registration]. What we are using for SAP was borrowed. It must be paid. We need a source of revenue),” PCCI President Amb. Benedicto Yujuico said.

“Kailangan na i-rehistro ang online businesses na ‘yan para somehow makakatulong sila sa revenue ng gobyerno (These online businesses need to be registered so they can somehow help with the revenue of the government),” he added.

The PCCI said they must not hesitate to do it as the government will aid them. Businessmen were also encouraged to not lose hope amid the ongoing crisis brought about by the pandemic.
