PCG deploys ‘Libreng Sakay’ buses for stranded passenger

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Black Saturday, April 16, deployed two “Libreng Sakay” buses to help stranded passengers in EDSA Busway.

PCG Commandant Artemio Abu said it is the response of the agency to address the influx of passengers during the Holy Week.

Abu said PCG will continue to deploy buses on Easter Sunday, April 17, and on Monday, April 18, for passengers going back to Metro Manila from provinces after the Holy Week.

The PCG encouraged the public to coordinate with the agency through its official Facebook page and Coast Guard Affairs’ contact number at 0927-560-7729 for other inquiries and concerns regarding sea travel protocols during Holy Week and other recreational activities.–KC-gb
