PCG files raps vs HK vessel on Mindoro sea mishap

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) filed criminal complaints against Hong Kong-flagged cargo vessel MV Vienna Wood that collided with a Philippine fishing boat last week.

The case of reckless imprudence resulting to multiple homicide and damage to property has been filed before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Occidental Mindoro. Among those included in the case are the shipping company and four Chinese crew of the vessel.

The 12 fishermen and two passengers who were aboard the Philippine fishing boat are still missing. The PCG will continue its search and retrieval operations until Tuesday. – Report from Cleizl Pardilla
