PCG shifts to retrieval ops for 4 dive yacht passengers

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) shifted on Sunday, May 7, its operations to search and retrieval for the four missing passengers of a dive yacht that sank in waters off Palawan.

The yacht owner, two passengers and guests, and one dive master remain missing.

“The PCG District Palawan shall assist the contracted salvor in conducting the retrieval operation,” the PCG said.

M/Y Dream Keeper sank in the waters off Tubbataha Reef in Cagayancillo town on April 30. 

M/Y Dream Keeper traveled from San Remigio in Cebu and arrived at the Tubbataha Reef at 10:00 p.m. on April 29.

A total of 28 passengers were rescued. – cf
