LEGAZPI CITY — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents arrested a family of three after some 35 grams of suspected “shabu”, worth about PHP210,000, were found in their house in Barangay Bitano, this city, Monday night, an official of PDEA in Bicol said Tuesday.

PDEA acting regional director Christian Frivaldo said the illegal drugs were immediately seized and placed suspects William Chua, his wife Elvira, and their son Eric Ian under arrest.

Frivaldo said the PDEA team was equipped with search warrant when they raided Chuas’ house in Purok 1, Bitano village at about 8:30 p.m.

Frivaldo said the Chua family were considered high-value targets (HVT) and are included on the PDEA illegal drug watch list.
