PDEA: Over ₱56B worth of illegal drugs seized since 2016


The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported that over ₱56 billion worth of illegal drugs have been confiscated since the start of the Anti-Drug Campaign of President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

The agency reported this on the 4th anniversary of #RealNumbersPH, the campaign of the government for transparency on the anti-drug war.

According to the PDEA, authorities have seized ₱56.67 billion worth of illegal drugs under the Duterte administration that includes 7,462.90 kilograms of shabu, 523.43 kg of cocaine, 85,089 pieces of ecstasy, and 3,700.59 kg of marijuana. 639 drug dens and 17 laboratories have also been abolished since 2016. There have also been 5,980 drug trafficker deaths, 269,046 arrested suspects, and 185,661 anti-drug operations. – PTV News
