PDEA RO-NCR yields P13.6M worth of shabu in Imus City buy-bust

Three drug personalities were arrested by joint operatives of the Manila District Office (MDO) and Southern District Office (SDO) of the PDEA Regional Office-NCR in a buy-bust operation conducted in Imus City, Cavite on Monday afternoon, September 9, 2019.

Atty. George Paul Alcovindas, Officer-In-Charge of the PDEA RO-NCR, identified the arrested suspects as Paul Angelo Lee Castro, 30 years old, Jesse James Palenzuela, 29 and Gina Carim Abdul, 45 who were in possession of Php 13.6M worth of illegal drugs. The three suspects were arrested at around 03:30 PM along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Anabu II-C, Imus City, Cavite after transacting with an undercover PDEA agent.

Confiscated and seized during the operation were two (2) self-sealing transparent plastic packs containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing more or less two (2) kilograms and has a standard drug price of Php 13,600,000.00.

Seized illegal drugs are now turned-over to PDEA Laboratory Service for appropriate conduct of qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Criminal charges for violation of section 5 and 26 of Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing against the arrested suspects.
