MTRCB, NYC to push youth-friendly programs

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) and the National Youth Commission (NYC) have come together to push for child and youth-friendly TV programs and movies that will stoke the spirit of nationalism in young people. The MTRCB assured close monitoring of shows and calling the attention of media organizations when concerns are raised about specific video materials. The NYC, on the other hand, plans to recommend programs that tackle teenage pregnancy and HIV to raise awareness among teenagers.
