PDRRMO: No reported damage, casualty in Batangas

Residents of Batangas, particularly in the town of Lemery have calmed down after this morning’s earthquake hit at around 7:00.

The Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office relayed that the trembler was felt in the municipalities of Calaca, Nasugbu and Calatagan. There are no reported damage, casualty and untoward incidents in the whole province.
Despite being used to earthquakes, the people of Lemery were a bit shaken by the latest Intensity 4 as they witnessed lamp posts moving in the streets. Everything has gone back to normal celebrating Christmas.

The PDRRMO advised Batangueños to be cautious especially when such calamities happen in this time of pandemic. – Report by Allan Francisco
