PH COVID-19 cases breach 13-K

The Philippines’ active COVID-19 cases breached the 13,000-mark on Saturday, July 9, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.

The Health department recorded a total of 1,825 COVID-19 infections on Saturday.

According to the DOH, they have recorded a huge increase of COVID-19 cases particularly in the National Capital Region (7,228), Calabarzon (3,127), Western Visayas (1,349), Central Luzon (1,228), and in Central Visayas (645).

Health experts urged the public to comply with the minimum public health protocols mandated by the government and receive their proper Covid-19 vaccines and booster shots as an added wall of immunity against Covid-19 virus. —Report from Bea Bernardo/KC – gb
