The Philippine Army has provided trucks to transport stranded people in EDSA.
The trucks traveled back and forth from the Mall of Asia in Pasay to Monumento in Caloocan City.
The Philippine Army has also gone to NAIA Terminal 3 to pick up commuters going to different parts of Metro Manila.
They are prepared to help the medical staff of the Philippine Heart Center for their transportation needs in fulfillment of the government’s pledge to aid the frontliners.
The pickup point will be in Monumento at 6:30 AM until the end of the medical staff’s duty.
Social distancing will be continuously observed.
The passengers have expressed their gratitude for the Philippine Army’s initiative.
