Philippines exports rice to Papua New Guinea

The Philippines is set to export rice to Papua New Guinea (PNG) this month, October 2019. This is in line with the agreement between the Mindanao Development Authority and PNG. The initial delivery of 5000 metric tons of premium and organic rice include RC 160, 7 tonner, banay-banay and dinorado. 400,000 metric tons of rice are expected to be imported yearly by PNG from the Philippines.
