PNP assures assistance in National ID System pre-registration

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is ready to provide assistance as the country’s National ID System pre-registration starts today.

According to PNP Chief Police General Camilo Cascolan, he has tasked the police commanders to ensure security in areas where the pre-registration will be conducted. Amid the current threat of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the police must also guarantee the public’s compliance with the minimum health standards while in the process of registration.

“They should always be visible. Number two, they should always assist and number three, they should always follow anti-COVID protocols and of course, maintain peace and order,” PGen. Camilo Cascolan assured. – Report from Bea Bernardo
