PNP bent in securing 2020 Sinulog Festival

The 2020 Sinulog Festival being just a few days ahead, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has been implementing its tighter security plan in Central Visayas as part of its preparation for the hap. The Police Regional Office (PRO) VII informed that it sends over a thousand policemen beginning next week to ice the safety of the event. Further, it mentioned that the Armed Forces of the Philippines, private security offices, and volunteers will partake in ensuring the desired peace in the conduct of the feast. The PRO VII, moreover, advises the public not to bring bag packs to the festival to avoid any suspicion on the carrying of prohibited items.
