PNP files motion to reopen Dacera case

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has filed a motion to again investigate the case of the death of flight attendant Christine Dacera.

According to the case respondents, they received the copy of the filed motion along with the toxicology report on Wednesday. Their counsel Atty. Mike Santiago stated that the motive of the prosecution to add new evidence to the case is suspicious.

Santiago added that the other camp disclosed in a hearing on February 17 that it is still waiting for the toxicology report requested from the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) since it does not have the capability to perform the test due to insufficient sample.

The respondents have questioned the late submission of the said report by the PNP especially when the Makati Prosecutor’s Office may release the result of the case any time this week. Report from Rod Lagusad
