PNP: Peace and order situation of GCQ areas, satisfactory

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has reported that the peace and order situation in areas under general community quarantine is satisfactory.

PNP Spokesperson PBGen. Bernard Banac has stated that crime incidents are low and the public is actively following the guidelines under GCQ.

According to Joint Task Force Corona Virus Shield, it is more likely to see crowds today due to the resumption of operations of some establishments under GCQ. The challenge for authorities is to maintain proper social distancing.

Meanwhile, the number of violators in the enhanced community quarantine is constantly dropping. Not more than 2,000 violators were arrested in the past few days.
