Police drug users to be dismissed within 2 months

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Debold Sinas disclosed that they are rushing the dismissal of police officers who tested positive for illegal drugs.

According to the PNP Chief, police drug users must be removed from the service. However, some of them remain on-duty. He cited as an example the cop he wanted to be dismissed in March but is still receiving his salary.

Sinas assured that the drug users within their ranks will be rooted out of the organization within two months. -PTV News
