Police nabs 3 drug pushers in Isabela

TUGUEGARAO CITY — Three drug  pushers were arrested by the police in separate drug buy-bust operations Friday (Feb. 9) in Isabela province.

Police Regional Office-2 (PRO-2) information officer, Superintendent Chevalier Iringan, identifed the arrested suspects as Lorenzo Viaje, 52, of Purok 7,  Barangay Cebu, San Isidro, Isabela; Joseph Villanueva, 39,  of Barangay Bugallon Norte, Ramon, Isabela; and Erwin Bangug, 40, of Barangay Quezon, Naguilian, Isabela.

Villanueva was arested by the Isabela Provincial Police Office (IPPO) in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Caguilingan, Cordon, Isabela. Confiscated from him was one plastic sachet containing cystallin substance suspected as “shabu” or methamphetamine hydrochloride.

Viaje, on the other hand, was nabbed by the San Isidro police in a buy bust operation in Barangay Cebu, San Isidro, Isabela and likewise yielded one plastic sachet of shabu.
