PRC ready to participate in national vaccination program vs. COVID-19

The Philippine Red Cross has prepared three mobile vaccine clinics for deployment once the system of the vaccine rollout against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been sorted out.

In a public briefing, PRC CEO Senator Richard Gordon stated that he is only waiting for the directive from the Department of Health (DOH) and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

Meanwhile, Sen. Gordon called on authorities to take action on the report of saliva RT-PCR testing centers operating without a permit, and giving out wrong results. He emphasized the importance of taking care of the public’s health and safety against unscrupulous individuals.
