Press Release on Vaccination of Carmona Health Workers

Health workers in Carmona are scheduled to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on March 22 to 23 at the Carmona Community Center in Barangay Cabilang Baybay.

The vaccines, which were turned over to the Municipal Government of Carmona on March 20, will be distributed to 961 health workers from the Carmona Hospital and Medical Center, Pagamutang Bayan ng Carmona, Municipal Health Office, and other private clinics in the municipality.

Meanwhile, other frontlines belonging to the priority list of the national government are waiting for the next batch of vaccines.

The local government unit has been preparing for the vaccine roll-out as early as January this year. Led by the MHO, the LGU has kicked off its COVID-19 Vaccination Awareness campaign and Long-Term COVID-19 Vaccination Plan two months ago. Moreover, Carmona is the first municipality in the Province of Cavite to conduct a vaccine roll-out simulation. (PR)
