President Rodrigo Duterte has signed Republic Act (RA) No. 11464 entitled “An Act Extending the Availability of the 2019 Appropriations to December 31, 2020, Amending for the Purpose Section 65 of the General Provisions of Republic Act No. 11260, the General Appropriations Act of Fiscal Year 2019.” By means of said imprimatur, the 2019 national budget may be used until the end of 2020. RA No. 11464 seeks not to defer the projects of the state.
