PRRD leads PMA grad ceremony via teleconferencing

President Rodrigo Duterte has led the graduation ceremony of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) via teleconferencing for the first time due to the pandemic.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said President Duterte is in Malacaῆang while joining the ceremony in Baguio City.

“For now, heto ‘yung kauna-unahang pagkakataon na naka-zoom or teleconferencing ang Presidente na nag-a-attend ng graduation. Magkaparehong PMA, at saka PNPA (For now, this is the first time the President is in Zoom or teleconferencing while attending graduation. Both PMA and PNPA),” Roque said.

The Chief Executive has already sent his present to the graduates, especially those with awards.

Female cadet Gemalyn Sugui from Echague, Isabela topped the PMA Masidlawin Class of 2020.
