Based on the list read by the Chief Executive, there are 5 involved barangay captains in Region 11, 4 each in Regions 4A and 4B, 3 each in Regions 3, 10, and CAR, and one in Region 13.

According to the Chief Executive, the said officials were preventively suspended by the Office of the Ombudsman and will face dismissal from service if proven that they engaged in SAP irregularities.

“Suspendido ka habang iniimbestiga ka (You are suspended while being investigated. Then at the end of the investigation, if you are good, then you are exonerated),” he stated.
