PRRD set to address the public anew on COVID-19 measures

President Rodrigo Duterte is set to have another public address tonight regarding updates on government measures against COVID-19.

The President is expected to primarily relay his COVID-19 Response Weekly Report which he must submit to Congress every Monday as part of the provisions of Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.

The public is also anticipating if the Chief Executive will release new directives, particularly on the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.

“The President is still in a meeting with concerned agencies and is currently coordinating with them relative to the response measures being undertaken by the government to address the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation in the country. We shall make the proper announcement after the said meeting is concluded and when the President is set to deliver his message to the people,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
