PRRD set to choose new AFP Chief of Staff

The Board of Generals has submitted the 10 names of Senior Generals for President Rodrigo R. Duterte to choose from to replace retiring Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Felimon Santos Jr.

According to AFP Spokesman Major General Edgard Arevalo, the Department of National Defense (DND) has submitted the list of generals to the Palace.

AFP Chief of Staff Santos, 56, is set to retire from the service on August 4. He was appointed to his post on January 4. – PTV News
