PRRD slams crooks using his name for corruption

President Rodrigo Duterte in his public address ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to “double their time” to go after individuals using his and cabinet members’ name in corruption-related activities.

Pres. Duterte slammed extortionists using his name and other officials to “lakarin” or expedite their dealings as long as they provide a down payment, saying that they are not engaged in such practices.

Iyan ang problema riyan (To the NBI and police, bring those you’ve caught guilty of such practice to my office… I want to talk to them about their livelihood because it is fraudulent. That’s the problem there),” he directed.

The Chief Executive described the fraudsters as parasites who “thrive on the gullible” and the naïve.

If you give the fraudsters the money, it’s your loss because their offer is not real),” he advised.

If you know you are straight and your contract is good and complete), you do not have to convince anybody that it is really good because it is really good,” he added. – PTV News Online
