PRRD in Taiwanese campaign poster ‘something to be proud of’: SAP Go

MANILA — Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on Saturday said President Rodrigo Duterte’s photo in a campaign poster of a Taiwanese politician is something to be proud of.

Napag-usapan nga po namin ni Pangulong Duterte ‘yan kagabi, so kami naman nag-smile kami parehas na kahit sa ibang bansa ay talagang ginagamit ‘yong mukha niya at pangalan niya against drugs so talagang nire-respeto si Pangulong Duterte (President Duterte and I talked about it last night (Friday), we just took light of it that even abroad his name is being used against drugs so that means President Duterte is being respected),” said Go narrating Duterte’s reaction on the sidelines of the 39th National Assembly of the Fraternal Order of Eagle in Camp Bonifacio, Saturday, where the former was keynote speaker.

So magiging babala iyon sa kanila na ultimo foreign candidates o Taiwanese ginagawang ehemplo si Pangulong Duterte (Just imagine that Taiwanese have a high regard for him, they recognize how serious President Duterte is when it comes to his campaign against illegal drugs, and this may be a good thing because we know that there are a lot of foreigners involved in illegal drugs. This will serve as a warning that even a foreign election candidate or Taiwanese considers him as a role model),” he added.

Go, during the same event, advanced the administration’s three-point campaign against drugs, criminality and corruption. (PNA)
