PRRD thanks donor countries for COVID-19 vaccine

President Rodrigo R. Duterte expressed his sincere gratitude Thursday to international officials, groups, and countries that donated vaccine doses to the Philippines.

As he led the arrival ceremony of the AstraZeneca vaccine, he thanked the donor countries and claimed that “remembering the poor nations is in fact already a plus for humanity”.

“And in behalf of the Republic of the Philippines and of the people and all, I’d like to say again that we felt the gratitude in our hearts and may God bless you for your benevolence.”

In relation with this, the Chief Executive again encouraged Filipinos to participate in the National Vaccination Program and assured that the vaccines are safe and effective. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
