PRRD to meet MVP soon

Malacañang bared President Rodrigo Duterte and business tycoon Manny V. Pangilinan may talk about the issue of the water concession agreement when they meet in the near future.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said the Chief Executive and the Maynilad Water Services Chairman will meet anew, following their encounter in an event in Navotas Thursday.

“After his speech, ‘di ba they shook hands, and I understand the President told him they will meet some time…Mutual concerns. (‘Yung water concession agreement?) Siguro (Maybe), most likely,” Panelo said.

Their meeting in Navotas was the first seen public interaction of President Duterte and MVP after the former blasted the water concessionaires for their supposed onerous contracts with the government. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
