QC, may pinakamataas na kaso ng COVID-19 sa NCR

Nangunguna pa rin ang Quezon City sa may pinakamataas na kaso ng COVID-19 sa Metro Manila at karatig probinsya nito, ayon sa huling tala ng Department of Health (DOH).

Tinatayang 103,179 na ang kaso ng COVID-19 sa Quezon City, habang 67,206 ang kabuuang kaso sa Cavite na siyang pumapangalawa sa mga syudad at probinsya na may pinakamaraming kaso ng COVID-19.

Sinundan ito ng City of Manila na may 64,699 kaso; 53,042 sa Rizal; at 52,002 naman sa Laguna.

Sunod-sunod din ang mga naiulat na paglabag sa health protocols sa Quezon City mula nang isailalim ito sa General Community Quarantine (GCQ). 

Karaniwang klase ng paglabag ay ang mass gathering.

“Out of 3 million na populasyon namin dito, more than half of this population is coming from the urban poor,” saad ni Quezon City Task Force Officer Action Officer Ranulfo Ludovica.

“Ang Quezon City rin, isa kami sa may pinakamaraming good practices when it comes to fighting COVID,” dagdag pa nito.

Kamakailan lang, inilabas ng lokal na pamahalaan ang kanilang guidelines para sa mga magsasagawa ng food distribution o anumang ayuda gaya ng community pantry upang maiwasan ang pagkahawaan ng COVID-19.

Kinakailangang makipag-ugnayan sa mga kinauukulan limang araw bago ito isagawa, at sisilipin ng Department of Public Order and Safety ng lungsod kung sapat ang lugar na pagdadausan ng food distribution. – Ulat ni Bernard Juadian / CF-rir
