The Quezon City local government unit (LGU) studies the possibility of putting up a 24-hour vaccination program and another nighttime vaccination site in the city for the economic frontliners.
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte said during her visit at the Quezon City Hall vaccination site on Monday (July 5) that about 20,000 economic frontliners got jabbed under the ‘Bakuna Nights’ program since its launch on June 16.
She added that these individuals who registered for Bakuna Nights reflect on the number of those who are not able to have their vaccines administered during regular working hours.
Belmonte also said that setting up a 24-hour vaccination hub is being taken into consideration.
As of July 5, a total of 883,837 doses were administered in Quezon City vaccination sites. – Report from Rod Lagusad / CF -rir
