MANILA — Most parts of the country will continue to experience rains due to the trough of a low-pressure area affecting Mindanao and the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas, the weather bureau said Sunday.

In its latest report, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over northern Mindanao, Caraga Region and Davao.

Cloudy skies with light rains, on the other hand, will prevail over Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon.

Metro Manila, Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while the rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over the northern and eastern sections of the country. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with moderate to rough seas, PAGASA said.
