Rainy Friday ahead

MANILA — It could be a rainy Friday due to local thunderstorms, the state weather bureau said.

In its 4-p.m. weather bulletin on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Metro Manila and other parts of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to local thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will have moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters pushed by moderate to occasionally strong winds, the bureau said.

The eastern section of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will also have moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters caused by moderate to occasionally strong winds.

Meanwhile, slight to moderate coastal waters will prevail over the rest of the country brought by light to moderate winds. (Juzel Danganan/PNA)
