“I think there will have to be a minimum number… para tayo’y maka-charter ng eroplano at iuwi sila. At siguro po, it will be some time in the future kasi the total ban is until the 14th,” sabi ni Roque sa kanyang briefing nitong Lunes (Mayo 3).

“[Sa] tulong ng FilCom [Filipino Community], what we have done is to…provide them all the information and the numbers that they can communicate with the embassy,” ani Bagatsing.

“Sa tulong ng DFA [Department of Foreign Affairs], we have arranged a system wherein iyong mga COVID support group, in terms of medicines and the supplies and the food requirements, we can address their issues, kasi napakalaki ng India.”

“So 8 million [doses] po iyong Covaxin, and once all the approvals are in place, they can send it there within one month,” ani Bagatsing.

“Iyong 30 million ng Novavax, this is a tie-up with Serum Institute of India which is the largest vaccine manufacturer in the world… these 30 million [doses] and the scheduled delivery there is [in] the third or fourth quarter of this year,” dagdag niya.
